D-S Plays Host to Students From Around the World
The students came to D-S from all over the world including Colombia, West Bank, Thailand, Germany, Italy, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Austria, Pakistan, France, Netherlands, Spain and Turkey.

This past weekend, the AFS (American Field Services) Club hosted 20 international students from around the world. The students were from Colombia, West Bank, Thailand, Germany, Italy, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Austria, Pakistan, France, Netherlands, Spain and Turkey.
Through the generosity of Dover and Sherborn families opening their homes, the weekend was full of excitement, entertainment and new friendships.
On Friday, there was a gala at the Lindquist Commons which consisted of student entertainment from solos to duets to playing various musical instruments as a group.

On Saturday, a trip to Boston was in order and the students explored the Freedom Trail, dined in the North End, shopped in Quincy Market and toured the State House. A social was held Saturday evening and was followed by a Sunday brunch.
AFS is an international exchange program that encourages Dover-Sherborn High School students to travel abroad; both school year and summer programs are available. Opportunities are also available to host foreign exchange students for the school year.
