Dover Police Log: Marked Lanes Violations Going Door-to-Door

The following information was provided by the Dover Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned there is no indication of a conviction.

 

Thursday, October 18

Motor Vehicle Stop (10:53 a.m.) - A verbal warning was issued to a motorist for marked lanes violations on Pleasant St. The vehicle had driven up 3-4 driveways, so the officer inquired as to the operator's purpose for doing so. The driver was a Jehovah's Witness and was going door-to-door. The officer requested that the parties check in at the police station when they are in the area going door-to-door.

Cat (5:23 p.m.) - A caller from Walpole St. reports that there is an orange cat in her backyard. She says the cat doesn't have tags on it. The Animal Control Officer was contacted.
