Dover Police Log: Suspicious Vehicles
The following information was provided by the Dover Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, October 31
Motor Vehicle Stop (10:43 a.m.) - A citation was issued to the operator of a truck on Dedham St. because of spillage from an uncovered load. A citation was also issued to the owner for having passenger plates on a commercial vehicle and no inspection sticker.
Hazardous Conditions (3:37 p.m.) - Police were alerted to a tree on power lines through Twitter. The tree was located on Pleasant St. An officer checked it out and NSTAR was notified.

Suspicious Vehicle (9:48 p.m.) - A Buttercup Ln. resident reported that a dark colored sedan was sitting on her street with someone in it. An officer checked and found that the person in the car was a line spotter for NSTAR.

Suspicious Vehicle (10:56 p.m.) - A Pine St. resident called to report that a sedan was parked in his driveway with its hazards on before taking off towards the center of town. An officer was dispatched to check it out, but the car was gone upon arrival.
