A family-friendly music and farm festival will take place on Sunday, June 1st from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m. at 195 Western Avenue, Sherborn.
Sherborn, MA — Silverwood Organic Farm invites the community to come together for a day of music, food, and farm fun at the 2nd Annual Farmapalooza. The family-friendly music and farm festival will take place on Sunday, June 1st from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m. at 195 Western Avenue, Sherborn.
The farm fields will come alive with live music from eight local bands, hands-on farm activities for all ages, and flavorful offerings from some of the area’s favorite food and drink purveyors. Set against the backdrop of open fields, a big red barn, and a high-peak canopy tent, Silverwood Organic Farm provides a picture-perfect setting for a day of fresh air and outdoor adventure.
This year’s music lineup features an exciting mix of Farmapalooza first-timers, returning favorites, and a wide variety of musical styles. School of Rock from Natick brings youthful energy and talent; Postage Due from Medfield keeps the rhythm lively with an upbeat jazz performance; and Dover-based TBD the band and Dover Demons are back by popular demand, ready to rock the farm once again. Sherborn’s own Rebel Beets and B&R will deliver a set of crowd-pleasing rock and pop favorites. Some Assembly Required, a high-spirited teen rock band from Wellesley High School, and Boston-based solo artist Ian Ostberg round out the lineup with fresh local sound and strong stage presence. All performances are included with admission.

Beyond the music, families will find plenty to explore. Kids can climb aboard for John Deere tractor rides, enjoy classic outdoor lawn games, get their faces painted by the talented and town-favorite Sybil Kaplan, and make friendship bracelets and plant seeds to take home. Visitors can also walk among antique John Deere tractors and take a farmer-led tour to learn what’s growing in the fields and greenhouses. For those with green thumbs, Silverwood’s Certified Organic Seedling Sale is the perfect opportunity to stock up on summer garden favorites — and connect with the gardening experts from Peas, Love & Parsley, who make growing your own vegetables at home fun, easy, and rewarding.
Back by popular demand, Sherborn’s Good As New Shop - a longtime community favorite that’s been serving the town since 1962 - will be at Farmapalooza with a selection of jewelry, clothing, and unique small items. And don’t miss @farmgirl.foodie, a Boston-based content creator who grew up on the farm, sharing her favorite Boston recs, healthy lifestyle tips, fun giveaways, and a taste of her farm-to-city inspiration.
