Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Sept. 10 and 11

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. Sunday is the 10th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. People around the country will be gathering for memorials and vigils to remember those who died and to thank the emergency responders who were there on that day. 2. In Dover, a to recognize the 10th anniversary of 9/11 will be held on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. The ceremony will be held at the flag pole at the Dover Town House. In case of rain it will be moved inside to the Great Hall.

3. A will be held on Sunday in Sherborn for the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. People will be gathering outside of the Sherborn Town Hall at 7:00 p.m.

4. The Dover Parks & Recreation Department will once again host the annual Dover Days Fair today from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Dover Town Common across from the American Legion. This 32-plus year tradition promises a full day of fun activities for families and people of all ages. Click here to check out more details on the fair and to see the list of activities and vendors.

5.  On Powisset Farm this weekend you can get your hands dirty helping to plant, weed, and harvest as part of their Friends in the Fields on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
