Gillian Fitz has been awarded the Richard T. Newman Family Fund for Language Study Internships Abroad. Richard T. Newman '49 and his family established this fund to support and encourage Carleton students to pursue internships in foreign countries that can lead to career opportunities in the field of foreign language.
Fitz is the daughter of Wolfgang Fitz and Eileen Fitz-Walsh and is a graduate of Dover-Sherborn High School.
