Girls Cross Country Continues Streak, Boys Fall to Westwood

Raider Lee Milne set a new course record at home finishing at 16:59 on Wednesday.

The D-S boys cross country team had their five-race win streak halted by Westwood on Wednesday, while the girls have now won seven in a row after beating the Wolverines.

The girls won, 22-36, and boys lost by a score of 18-37.

At the boys meet, Westwood finished with five runners in the top seven, including owning the top three finishes.

Teddy Mosher had another strong race finishing fourth but was unable to help keep his team's winning streak alive.

The girls had six of the top 10 finishes with Lee Milne, who set a new course record, and Olivia Cannon taking first and second, respectively.

The Division IV Cross Country Tournament will be on Saturday Nov. 12 at Franklin Park in Jamaica Plain. The boys begin at 12:25 p.m. and girls start at 1:40 p.m.
