Letter: Sherborn Library Trustees Thankful for Arts and Crafts Fair

To the Editor:

GK. Chesterton wrote, “Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.” One could also say, “without the Friends of the Sherborn Library, there would be no Arts & Crafts Fair!"

The Trustees of the Sherborn Library would like to sincerely thank all the Friends, especially co-chairs Abby Fiske & Bene Raia, who along with Mother Nature, once again gave us a day to remember!

Fair-goers clad in foul-weather gear were rewarded with marvelous hand-crafted treasures and the Friends continued a 40-year tradition of fundraising for the Library. With their ongoing support and a recently launched 3-year Capital Campaign the future is certainly bright for the Sherborn Library. 

A thoughtful and exciting renovation/expansion project is in the works we are now officially in the queue to receive a $3.6 million state grant towards the project.
