As an open access institution serving a diverse population of students, it is important to Middlesex to offer flexible and affordable options to set up each one for success, according to Arlene Rodríguez, MCC’s Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.

“Every student comes in with different learning styles and needs and it is our responsibility to meet each one where they are,” Rodríguez said. “The pandemic has shown us more than ever that students thrive by having options that fit into their lives, be it online, on campus or a mix of both. For the Spring 2022 semester, the college has designed a schedule that reflects those preferences and helps get students on track to meet their goals in ways that work best for them.”

For the Wintersession and Spring 2022 semesters, Middlesex students can choose between on campus, online and hybrid courses, student support services and resources, and events. MCC is hosting a virtual Open House from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17 to highlight all that the college has to offer prospective students and their families.

Featuring experts throughout the college sharing information, the event will use the software SCHED to provide a dynamic virtual experience. After registering for the Open House, participants will receive an email from SCHED providing them with instructions to sign-up for their preferred sessions.

Please note that Middlesex requires all students to be vaccinated in order to come to campus, as of January 2022. Students who are unvaccinated can still choose to take online classes and access online resources and student support services.
