Officers Respond to Reports of Fire, Found Dog
The Dover Police Department provided the following information.

Monday, April 1
10:01 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of smoke coming from Meeting House Hill Road. People at the scene extinguished the fire after officers discovered they didn't have a permit.
4:25 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the Valley Road neighborhood. Officers checked the area but the vehicle was gone on arrival.

8:24 p.m.: A caller found a dog running on Springdale Avenue in traffic without tags. Officers left a message with the animal's possible owner and went to their possible address but no one was home. Animal control picked up the animal.
