After successful fall seasons for several of the  athletic programs, student athletes are preparing for the start of the 2011-2012 winter sports seasons, which officially opens Friday, Dec. 9, with the swim team on the road against Hopkinton. Teams have been practicing for a little over a week and playing in pre-season scrimmages to prepare for opening night.
