Presidential Primary Food Drive a Success

Donations are still being collected until the end of the week.

The Student Director Leadership Program at the Sherborn Community Center in conjuction with the Sherborn Town Clerk's office held a food drive at the Town Hall during yesterday's Presidential Primary.

Over 500 canned goods and food items have been donated so far and the drive will continue until the end of the week.

All items we be donated to A Place to Turn in Natick, a food pantry that served over 8,000 individuals last year in the Natick and surrounding communities. Most of which were children.

Recommended donation items include, canned chicke, beef stew, juice, dry and canned soups, white rice, dry pasta, macaroni and cheese, dry cereal, jelly, peanut butter, toilet paper, tissues and paper towels.
