Sherborn to Receive $1,500 in S.A.F.E. Grant
The money will toward helping to teach people about fire safety.

Senator Richard Ross (R-Wrentham) and Representative David Linsky (D-Natick) are pleased to announce that Sherborn will be receiving $1,500 from this year’s Student Awareness of Fire Education (S.A.F.E.) grant program. The funds will be used to help educate people about fire prevention and safety.
“Today, it is so important that we provide our children with the education and skills necessary to protect themselves in case of an emergency,” said Senator Ross. “By educating children from a young age in fire prevention and safety, we are taking a very important step in ensuring that they will always be prepared.”
“Teaching young people what to do in the event of an emergency and how to prevent fires is critical,” said Rep. Linsky. S.A.F.E. is a remarkable and vital program with proven success and I thank our local fire departments for their dedication to this important program.”
