<a href="http://silverwood-farm.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Silverwood Organic Farm</a> in Sherborn will be hosting a fall festival and will be opening the farm to the public on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The festival will allow people to see sprouting seedlings in the greenhouses, crops growing in the fields, and learn about organic growing practices during tours of the farm. Local organic farm partners will be on hand to answer questions and to offer samples of some of their products - local honey, organic coffee, grass fed beef, organic pizza. There will be plenty of farm activities for children too like helping to plant a children's garden, farm arts and crafts and plant a pea to take home.  Plus, children and adults alike can also enjoy vintage John Deere tractor rides. The farm wants to give people the opportunity to meet local farmers, learn about certified organic farming, and enjoy fall on the farm at Silverwood Organic Farm.
