The D-S girls varsity soccer team defeated Norwell High School on Sunday winning the Div. 3 South Sectional Final to advance onto the Div. 3 state semi-finals. Both teams were evenly matched throughout the game but it was D-S who took the win on a goal from Taylor Coutts with 15:55 left in the second half. Coutts' goal came in a scrum in front of the net with the Raiders taking a flurry of shots before finding the back of the net. The girls will advance on to play Georgetown High School on Tuesday Nov. 15 at Lynn High School.
