2. Philosophy of Film, North by Northwest

Today at 6:30 p.m. at the Ames Free Library:

Join Professor Ed McGushin of Stonehill College, for a unique evening of philosophy and film discussion.

Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest is hugely entertaining, but also provides a powerful platform for the discussion of larger philosophical concepts such as identity, the context of the Cold War, and interrogation of modern life.

Pick up a copy of the film at the library if you want to refresh your memory of this old classic, and let’s get together for a thought-provoking evening. Free and open to all.

Federally Funded with LSTA funds through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners
