Spring Baseball 2013 Babe Ruth Dvision (13 - 15 Yr Olds) 
Starts: Friday, April 05, 2013 Ends: Sunday, June 30, 2013 
Eligibility: Birthdates 5/1/1997 - 4/30/2000
The Babe Ruth division introduces the 90 foot diamond to 13 year olds and continues the experience for 14 and 15 year olds. Emphasis is on developing skills, learning the nuances of the game, and having fun. All teams make the playoffs.

2. Fatal Decision : Edith Cavell WWI Nurse at the Ames Free Library

Tonight at 6:30 p.m.:

Haunted by the images on a set of vintage postcards, Terri Arthur, Massachusetts author and nurse, set about learning more about the life and death of a British nurse, Edith Cavell. Arthur also discovered that none of the books about Cavell had been written by a nurse and felt strongly that as a nurse, she could not only throw fresh light on the life and career of this extraordinary woman, but create a riveting tale of historical suspense.

Book signings will follow the author talk.
