Easton Obituary: Alexandra 'Ali' Hamilton

Visiting hours for Ali Hamilton will be held at the Kane Funeral Home Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.

Alexandra "Ali" Hamilton, 22, tragically passed away Friday after a motor vehicle accident. Below is her full obituary from Kane Funeral Home:

Alexandra J. "Ali" Hamilton, 22, a lifelong resident of Easton, died Friday morning, March 22, 2013 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Born on January 24, 1991, a daughter of Steven Hamilton and his wife Sarah (Durdan) Hamilton of Easton and Terri (Broderick) Hamilton and John Annand of Raynham, she was raised in Easton and was a 2009 graduate of Oliver Ames High School. A sophomore and Criminal Justice major at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, Ali was employed part time as a hostess at Stoneforge Grill in Easton.

An avid sports enthusiast, she was a member of the AAU Basketball and also played intramural softball. She enjoyed both the Red Sox and Boston Celtics.

Sociable, outgoing and always smiling, she was devoted to her family and enjoyed the company of friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her siblings, Meredith Hamilton of Easton, Steven Hamilton Jr. of Easton, Nicole Hamilton-Peters of Brockton and Dylan Macnair of Easton; her paternal grandparents, Lester and Marilyn (Brolin) Hamilton of Bridgewater; her maternal grandparents, Carole (Thompson) Florio and her husband Roland of Easton and Kevin Broderick and his wife Debbie of Foxboro; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street,Easton. Interment will follow in South Easton Cemetery, Easton. In lieu of flowers donations in Ali's memory may be sent to the Alexandra Hamilton Scholarship Fund, c/o Wesley Paul, Oliver Ames High School, 100 Lothrop Street, Easton, MA. 02356.
