Easton Shooting On Christmas: Arrest Made

Easton police said Lee Fruzzetti shot a man twice on Massapoag Avenue​ on December 25, 2017.

EASTON, MA — Easton police on Tuesday announced an arrest in connection with a shooting in town on Christmas. Lee Fruzzetti, 53, of East Bridgewater, was charged with assault with a weapon and carrying a gun without a license. Fruzzetti has been held in custody at the Bristol County House of Correction since his arrest February 20 in an unrelated case.

Police said on December 25, Fruzzetti invaded the Massapoag Avenue home of a 50-year-old man and shot him twice. The victim was seriously injured but survived.

Police did not release a motive for the shooting but said Fruzzetti specifically targeted the victim.
