April Haskins allegedly robbed a Dunkin Donuts at gunpoint.
An Easton woman and her accomplice are facing armed robbery charges stemming from an incident on Jan. 30 when the two allegedly robbed a Dunkin Donuts in Bridgewater at gunpoint.
April Haskins, 27, of 354 Foundry Street in Easton and Victoria Melendez, 21, of 187 Manley Street in Brockton were arrested more than a week later after police obtained warrants for their arrests, according to The Enterprise.
According to reports, the Haskins walked into the Dunkin Donuts on Bedford Street in Bridgewater and showed a hand gun before demanding money from the cashier. Police now believe the weapon was an Air Soft pellet gun that was found at Haskins' residence. Police also found clothes at her residence that they believe she wore during the robbery.
Bridgewater Police Lt. Thomas Schlatz said it's the first time in 25 years with the department that he's seen two women involved in an armed robbery.
