Eleven of 20 Easton Runners Cross Boston Marathon Finish Line

Of the 20 runners from Easton in this year's Boston Marathon, 11 crossed the finish line, according to the Boston Athletic Association.
The marathon was cut short when two explosions erupted near the finish line, killing at least two and injuring over 100, WHDH reported. Runners who had not yet crossed the finish line were diverted. The two explosions happened at approximately 2:50 p.m. when the marathon clock read 4:09.

Easton runners Sarah Loftus, Matthew Borden, Timothy Chiappini, James Lawson, Sara Lupica, Lisa Motta, George Rodriguez, Donald Schwarz, Brian Cohen, Michael Maher and Colleen Murphy had already crossed the finish line at the time of the explosion.
