Easton Farmer's Market Returns to Depot Street This Spring

The Farmer's Market will return to the Depot Street "S" Curve in May.

After a winter indoors at Simpson Spring, the farmer's market will move back outside soon, the Town of Easton announced this week.

The original Easton Farmer's Market will re-open May 21 at the "S" curve on Depot Street. Last year was the first time the market was at that location after moving from the Natural Resources Trust Sheep Pasture.

Below is information provided by the Town of Easton:

The Original Easton Farmers’ Market (formerly the NRT Farmers Market) enters into its fifteenth year when it returns to the new location at the Depot Street turnout, operating each Tuesday from 2:00pm – 6:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am – 2:00pm.  Located just north of the Five Corners (intersection of Bay Road, Depot Street and Foundry Street), the Depot Street location proved to be a popular move last year both for the Market’s vendors and residents of  Easton and nearby towns.  The combination of this highly visible and accessible site and the desire for local grown produce and other food products resulted in daily averages of over 120 visitors to the market.  After over-wintering at the Easton Winter Farmers’ Market, which was hosted by Simpson Spring Co., everyone looks forward to returning outdoors to greet long-time friends and meet new customers.

The Market continues to offer a selection of fruits and vegetables, meat, honey, cheese, honey, baked goods, jams and jellies.  The Market looks forward to the return of local wineries, Simpson Spring sodas and to new offerings including fish and local roasted coffee.   The Market opens Tuesday May 21 and runs through Saturday October 26.  Vendors interested in participating in the market should contact Stephanie Danielson at 508.230.0641. You can follow the market on Easton’s website, the Easton Town Crier or by liking Easton’s Facebook page.
