One Arrested After Two-Car Accident on Washington and Central

One involved was allegedly operating without a license

One person was arrested Friday morning after a two-car motor vehicle accident on the corner of Washington and Central Street.

Juan Reyes of 148 Wendall Street, Providence was arrested for operating without a license and an outstanding default warrant.

Hydrant Breaks During Saturday Accident

A blue pick-up truck drove off the road in front of Easton Mobile Home Park on Washington Street Saturday morning and struck a fire hydrant.

The accident, which occurred at 6:54 a.m., sent the water department to the scene to fix the issue and a tow company to remove hte vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Alleged Hit and Run Results in Citation and Summons

One person was issued a citation and summons after an alleged hit and run on the corner of Eastman and Foundry Street.

A witness reported the incident and the suspect fled towards Mansfield on Route 106. No injuries were reported.

Mansfield Police stopped the vehicle in their town and Easton Police issued the operator a summons and citation.

Vandalism on Pumping Station

A water department employee reported vandalisum on the first pumping station, possibly done over the past couple of weeks. The employee asked for the incident to be logged.
