• Ex-Stoughton cop decertified for alleged Sandra Birchmore exploitation (patriotledger.com) — State police regulators have permanently revoked the certification of former Stoughton Deputy Chief Robert Devine after finding a pattern of misconduct and dishonesty, including a prior suspension tied to an affair with a 30-year-old Easton woman. The decision bars him from police work in Massachusetts and places his name in a national decertification database, though he has 30 days to appeal.
