Bristol County Police Chase: Suspect Crashes; Medflight Called
A multi-vehicle crash in Raynham on Route 138 near Market Basket also involved a pedestrian being struck.
RAYNHAM, MA — A multi-vehicle crash in Raynham on Route 138 Tuesday morning involved a pedestrian being struck and serious injuries to at least one individual. The crash happened sometime around 11:45 a.m. near Market Basket. A medical helicopter landed near the road to transport a seriously injured individual to a nearby hospital.
The crash involved a vehicle that was the target of a police chase that started in Easton, according to reports.
State Police said the suspect in the chase was arrested. The suspect nearly struck a State Police cruiser during the incident, police said.
