Turnpike Street Floods After Hydrant vs. Vehicle Crash

A vehicle hit a fire hydrant early Sunday.

A vehicle struck a fire hydrant near Easton Mobile Home Park Sunday morning causing water to flood into the streets.

The accident occurred at approximately 5:58 a.m. and no injuries were reported. The Easton water department was called to the scene to remedy the situation and the driver of the vehicle was cited.

Emergency officials responded to a chimney fire on Turnpike Street in Easton at approximately 4:13 p.m. Friday.

Fire officials extinguished the fire and reported all OK.

Break-in Reported on Lincoln Street

An alarm sent Easton Police to Lincoln Street at 11 a.m. on Friday.

Officers arrived to confirm a break-in. A report was taken.

Car Fire Reported on Black Brook Road

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Thursday a car fire was reported on Black Brook Road.

Easton firefighters extinguished the fire and the area was reported safe.

Disturbance Reported on Foundry Street

At approximately 7 p.m. Tuesday, a motorist reported a male pedestrian who appears to be drunk and is jumping out into traffic focused on female pedestrian across the street.

Police arrived and transported both pedestrians to their homes.
