• Resident Parking Sticker Program begins Jan. 2 with new changes (everettindependent.com) — Everett residents will need to actively apply for their 2026 resident parking stickers starting January 2, as automatic mailings are ending. Stickers are free through February 28, then cost $10, and all vehicles must display them by March 1, 2026, with special rules for Lower Broadway, commercial vehicles, and visitor passes.

• Mice droppings on booths, soiled equipment plague Boston's only TGI Fridays (masslive.com) — Everett diners should know that while recent health violations were found at Boston’s only TGI Fridays in Roxbury, the chain also operates a location in Everett. Inspectors reported mice droppings, dirty equipment, and soiled surfaces at the Boston site, prompting corrective actions and work with the city’s health department. The company says it’s committed to improving cleanliness and safety.

• Woman hospitalized, illegal immigrant in ICE custody after horrific hit and run (bostonherald.com) — A 63-year-old Everett woman remains hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck in a crosswalk near the 7/11 on Broadway, according to Everett police. Officers quickly traced the damaged car to Gledhill Avenue and arrested the driver, who is now in ICE custody and faces multiple traffic and hit-and-run charges while the victim recovers at Massachusetts General Hospital.

- Has anyone in the Everett area had someone come to their home today saying they were from Hello Fresh?
He had an apron that said hello fresh as well as a badge. He was a European man with a strong accent. I obviously said I wasn’t interested, my adult… (Nextdoor Ferry St/Broadway) - does anyone know what is being built at both sides of market basket in chelsea.
