1 Charged In Bourne Bridge Crash That Injured 3

A 37-year-old faces a charge of operating under the influence of alcohol following the crash.

BOURNE, MA — The driver Massachusetts State Police said is responsible for a crash on the Bourne Bridge that closed the road and injured three people, faces an operating under the influence of alcohol charge.

Garret Mullen, 37, of Lewiston, Maine, is charged OUI in addition to a firearms charge and traffic infractions.

The Friday night crash closed the bridge for a period after officials said the truck Mullen was driving struck an SUV, injuring the three people inside.
