Burglary Under Investigation In East Falmouth

FALMOUTH, MA — Police are investigating a burglary in East Falmouth after a woman reported waking up to a man in her room Sunday night.

The burglary happened on Neve's Way around 11:15 p.m., police said. The woman told police the man fled with her purse, which investigators later found in the area with $20 missing.

The man was described as about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, wearing a winter hat and bulky jacket. Officers did not find the suspect during a search of the area.

The woman was uninjured, and nothing else was reported missing from her home or purse, police said.
