Christmas Around the World 2025 – Holiday Hits from Santa’s Sleigh

This December, the Falmouth Historical Society is excited to host a unique concert series for the first time, that will take you on a sleigh ride around the world.

Come celebrate an incredible concert, featuring the Cape Cod String Quartet and friends – singers Anna McEntee, Emma Fahle, Zack Johnson and pianists Matthew Hutchinson, Talyn Imhoff and Catherine Bonnett- showcasing a mix of modern holiday hits (All I Want for Christmas, Baby It’s Cold Outside, Happy Christmas-War Is Over, Do They Know It’s Christmas, Baby Please Come Home, Run Rudolph Run, Little Saint Nick) alongside classics (White Christmas, Silver Bells, The Christmas Song-Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, Sleigh Ride, and more).

The concert will also feature the dancers of Falmouth's own Turning Pointe Dance Studio, performing excerpts from the Sea Captain's Nutcracker accompanied by the musicians.

To add to the fun, Mrs. Claus will stop by to help narrate the journey. A special part of the concert will be a reading of hometown hero Katharine Lee Bates’ whimsical 1889 poem Goody Santa Claus, connecting the lyrics/poetry to holiday tradition.

Libations and appetizers at intermission will be available and included in your ticket cost; 45-50 minutes first half, Intermission 10-15 minutes, and another 30-45 minute for the second half.
