The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. The State Police Communications section is reacting to reports that the Sagamore and Bourne bridges will be closed by the Army Corps of Engineers. Officers at the Bourne Barracks report that residents have been calling the station, claiming that the media is reporting both bridges are being closed. The State Police Office of Media Relations distributed this email statement: "Please be advised that the decision whether to close the bridges will be made by the US Army Corps of Engineers and that no such decision has been made at this time."
