• Eversource Completes First of Two Undersea Cables to Martha's Vineyard (wror.com) — New undersea power cables are being installed between Martha’s Vineyard and Falmouth, upgrading aging infrastructure that has previously contributed to Vineyard blackouts. Eversource says the $310 million project, funded by eastern Massachusetts customers, should quietly boost reliability, with grid connection expected in early 2026 and minimal disruption in Falmouth during final onshore work and testing.
