Cape Cod Home Hit With Stray Bullets: Police
No one was injured in the shooting, and police said they don't believe the residents at the Yarmouth home were targeted.
YARMOUTH, MA — An investigation is underway after a Yarmouth home was hit by what police are calling stray bullets this week.
Yarmouth Police were called to a Camp Street home just before 6 p.m. on Monday after receiving a 911 call reporting a bullet had come through a window of a home.
A resident was alerted when they heard glass break on the other side of an adjoining room. After getting up to see what happened, they found a bullet on the sofa.

An initial investigation by Yarmouth Police Officers and Detectives determined the residents were not targeted in the incident. There were no injuries reported, and residents were not close to where the bullet entered the home, police said.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, but Yarmouth Police believe this is an "isolated incident" and there is no threat to the public.
