Cape Cod Woman Killed In Crash

MATTAPOISETT, MA — A Cape Cod woman was killed in a crash in Mattapoisett Tuesday morning, according to police. The woman was a 38-year-old from Bourne. Her name was withheld pending notification of family.

Massachusetts State Police said the crash happened on Interstate 195 eastbound at about 1 a.m. The woman was driving a Toyota Camry when she veered off the road and struck a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
