Cape Cod Woman Killed In Crash: Police

BRIDGEWATER, MA — A 74-year-old Mashpee woman was killed Saturday in a Bridgewater crash, according to state police.

Troopers responded shortly after 3:15 p.m. to the single-vehicle incident on southbound Interstate 495, police said. A 2018 Chevrolet Malibu had entered a wooded median for reasons under investigation and rolled over, according to police, who said a passenger, Lana Testa, died at the scene, while the 79-year-old driver, a Mashpee man, was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The left lane of the southbound interstate was closed near Exit 19B for over four hours, police said.
