COVID-19 Positivity Rate Rises In Falmouth
Falmouth saw its positivity rate increase from 1.81 percent last week to 2.13 percent this week, but that's still below the state average.
FALMOUTH, MA — Like the majority of the state, Falmouth saw its coronavirus metrics head in the wrong direction since last week, Massachusetts Department of Public Health data released Thursday.
According to state COVID-19 data, Falmouth averaged 6.6 cases daily per 100,000 residents, up from last week's rate of 6.4. Over the last two weeks, the town had 29 cases.
The town also saw its positivity test rate increase from 1.81 percent last week to 2.13 percent this week. Statewide, the positivity rate was 2.36 percent, according to state data released Thursday.

The state also reported that Falmouth has 81 percent of its residents fully vaccinated. About half of Falmouth residents have gotten the booster.
