Falmouth Highfield Hall & Gardens Hosts Winter Break Programs For Kids
Two February programs at Highfield Hall & Gardens can keep local kids active while on school break.

FALMOUTH, MA — Highfield Hall & Gardens is pleased to announce two winter break programs for children ages 5 and up.
On Monday, February 19, Imagination, curiosity, and creativity take flight as kids explore the magic of carousels through story and craft. Together, we will have fun investigating and learning about the history, physics, and art of carousels. Experienced educator Carol DiCristina will engage the group as they learn about the carousel horses on exhibit at Highfield and create a unique carousel craft to bring home.

Carol DiCristina has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and an M.S. in Educational Administration from Wheelock College. She has more than 30 years of experience working with young children.
On Tuesday, February 20, Highfield’s Culinary Instructors Hopy Christy and Dorothy Schrump offer Cookie Decorating for Kids. Kids can get creative and have fun baking and decorating cookies in Highfield’s instructional kitchen. Kids will roll dough and use fun shaped cookie cutters, icing, sprinkles, and other decorations to make delicious creations to take home!
Hope and Dorothy are regular volunteers in Highfield’s culinary classes, and have offered numerous culinary programs for children at through Highfield Kids & Families programs.
