Falmouth Hit-And-Run: Suspect Search Ongoing; Vehicle Description
Falmouth police said a suspect possibly driving a Buick Enclave struck and seriously injured a pedestrian on Oyster Pond Road.

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth police on Monday continued the hunt for a hit-and-run suspect who struck and seriously injured a pedestrian Friday night on Oyster Pond Road. The suspect was possibly driving a Buick Enclave sport utility vehicle in the 2013-2017 model year, according to Falmouth police Lieutenant Douglas DeCosta. He said officers recovered the vehicle's rear bumper insert, which fell off due to the impact of the crash. A photo of the insert can be found below.
The victim, a 24-year-old Falmouth man, was seriously injured. The crash happened on Oyster Pond Road at the intersection of Nobska Road Friday. The victim was found sprawled out on the road. He was transported to Falmouth Hospital and then a Boston-area hospital due to the extent of his injuries.
DeCosta said the suspect vehicle may have front end or undercarriage damage. The color of the suspect vehicle was unknown.
