Falmouth Town Election Results Are In
Scott P. Zylinski will join Douglas C. Brown for the two spots on the Falmouth Select Board, while Michael C. Palmer will remain town clerk.
FALMOUTH, MA — The election results for the Select Board are in, and Falmouth voters have chosen Scott P. Zylinski and incumbent chairman Douglas C. Brown for the two available seats.
Brown retained his place with 3,408 votes, and Zylinski came in with 3,216 votes. The third candidate Dianna T. Mota received 888 votes from all nine precincts combined.
Michael C. Palmer will remain in his position as town clerk for another three years after he came in with a total of 3,540 votes.

There were six candidates hoping to get three open School Committee spots for the next three years. Melissa M. Keefe came in first with 2,572 votes, followed by Maraget M. Souza and Michael G. Heylin. Nancy A Kerrigan, Shea T Brown-Kirlew, and Mark A Mancini were the remaining three.
All of the ballot questions passed the town's votes. The first ballot question will authorize additional funding for the fire station on Sandwich Road. The second one will allow funds for the construction and improvement of the wastewater treatment facility and the third will request that the state government act to prevent Holtec from dumping radioactive water into Cape Cod Bay.
