Friends and Family Hold Memorial Service for Kristofer Williams
Friends and family paid their final respects Monday to the man found dead in his East Falmouth home on June 12.
Several-hundred people gathered Monday to honor the truncated life of Kristofer Williams with a memorial Mass at St. Patrick's Church in Falmouth, the Cape Cod Times reports.
Williams, 24, and Crystal Perry, 43, were found beaten and stabbened to death on June 12 at 146 Central Ave. in East Falmouth. The killings are still under investigation and police have made no arrests.
"Evil has struck," said the Rev. Tim Goldrick during the homily, according to the Times. "Evil is very, very real in our world, and it struck here in Falmouth. A young man is dead. A family grieves. A community is in shock. A church gathers to pray the words that Jesus taught us and deliver us from evil."
