Man Dies After Being Pulled From Falmouth Motel Pool

An employee from the Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge called police Monday to report a "suspected drowning," before the man died, the DA said.

FALMOUTH, MA — A man died after he was pulled from a motel pool in Falmouth on Memorial Day, the Cape and Island District Attorney's Office confirmed.

Officers responded to Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge at 164 Falmouth Heights Road around 6:25 p.m. Monday after receiving a 911 call from an employee of a possible drowning.

Once emergency crews got there, the man was being pulled from the pool. EMTs and members from Falmouth Fire Department began performing CPR on the man before he was taken to Falmouth Hospital, where police confirmed he later died.
