Mashpee Hosts Community Picnic, Fireworks This Weekend
The event includes plenty of food vendors, live music and, of course, a fireworks display.
MASHPEE, MA — Fourth of July weekend really starts on Cape Cod with events this weekend.
Take Mashpee, for instance, which will host the town's community picnic and fireworks show on Saturday.
The event features live music by Paradise Rock Band and other entertainment including K9 demonstrations and more.

Eleven food vendors will also be in attendance at the event, with items ranging from corndogs to barbecue to lobster and Italian ice.
The event, hosted at Mashpee Middle and High School, begins at 5 p.m. with fireworks starting at dusk.

A shuttle service will run starting at 5:30 p.m. from Quashnet Elementary.
