Pediatric Cancer Patients Take Special Cape Cod Holiday Excursion

More than 60 pediatric cancer patients from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's Jimmy Fund Clinic took a trip on the Cape Cod Polar Express.

CAPE COD, MA — It was a special weekend for more than 65 pediatric cancer patients from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Jimmy Fund Clinic and their families, as they made a special holiday trip on Cape Cod.

The kids and families came to Cape Cod on Saturday night to ride the Cape Cod Polar Express. The families were treated to a 90-minute festive train ride with Santa Claus to the North Pole.

Cape Cod's Polar Express Train Ride is a seasonal event put on by the Cape Cod Central Railroad. It takes off from 70 Main St., in Buzzards Bay.
