A Falmouth man and woman were found guilty Monday of cocaine and heroin distribution, the Cape Cod Times reported.
After a four-day trial with a jury, Troy Monteiro, 25, and Ariel Price-Perry, 22, were found guilty of two counts of conspiracy to violate the controlled substances act, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony. They were also both guilty of one count each of possession with intent to distribute heroin and larceny over $250 and two firearms violations.
Due to previous drug offenses, Monteiro was found to be an "armed career criminal" and was sentenced to 10 to 12 years in state prison.
Price-Perry's sentencing will be continued on Aug. 9. Until then, she is being held the Barnstable County Correctional Facility, the Times wrote.
