Uncommon Cafe creates unique sandwiches like 'The Pilgrim'

Between window-shopping, drop in for a tasty specialty sandwich or fresh salad at Uncommon Café, located across from the Williams Sonoma in Mashpee Commons off Route 28.

Bought by owner Adam Ogonowski in March 2011, the café has ample outdoor seating, comfortable dark-wood tables and booths, sunny gold walls and local artwork and photographs hung on the walls. Customers can read the newspaper at the bar seating or enjoy free, unlimited wifi. 

The menu features a variety of specialty sandwiches with unique ingredients like smoke gouda, red-pepper hummus, buffalo sauce, pesto mayo and blue cheese. They also offer a variety of paninis ranging in many different flavor profiles, from Thai to Italian to Greek.

The restaurant’s menu also touts many vegetarian options, soups, salads and burgers, as well as a kid’s menu for younger palates.

To accompany your Panini or salad, Uncommon Café also sells a variety of specialty potato chips, Nantucket Nectar and Snapple juices, iced coffee and Pure Leaf iced tea.

How to Get There: Take U.S. Route 6 to Exit 5. At the top of ramp, take a left and follow Route 149 to Route 28. Bear right onto Route 28 and follow to the Mashpee rotary. Mashpee Commons is at the intersection of Routes 28 & 151.
