Weekend Car Fire Prompts Emergency Response On Cape Cod
Officials said early reports found that a delivery driver was making a drop off before returning to their car, which was on fire.
BOURNE, MA — A car fire on Cape Cod prompted a police and fire response on Sunday.
The Bourne Police Department announced they were assisting the local fire department with the car fire, that happened in the 800-block area of Shore Road.
"Early reports indicate a delivery driver went to deliver a package and when they returned to his vehicle, it was on fire," officials said.

The vehicle involved is a 2006 Toyota Prius hybrid.
