Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Hosting Summer Tech Expo

Learn about new technology and enjoy local snacks and drinks from area vendors at the upcoming event.

FALMOUTH, MA — The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution will hosta summer tech expo next week.

On Aug. 29 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., the WHOI’s AVAST Innovation Hub at the David Center for Ocean Innovation, 360 Woods Hole Rd., in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, will be hosting a "public event focused on showcasing innovative ocean technology."

Exhibitors will represent private industry, local school robotics groups, Cape Cod Community College, WHOI research projects and more.

The featured exhibit is the Stratasys Mobile Showroom, a traveling showroom focusing on the very latest in additive fabrication technologies, officials said.

This afternoon will also include food trucks, an ice cream vendor, a shaved ice and slushie car and Aquatic Brewing.
