Attempted Robbery at Knifepoint Reported in Clemente Park
Police say a victim reported being threatened with a knife near the Museum of Fine Arts on Tuesday afternoon.

The following information was supplied by the Boston Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate a conviction.
At 1:17 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, officers met with a man in front of the Museum of Fine Arts who said that someone tried to rob him at knifepoint.
The victim stated that while walking over the bridge that lead to Clemente Park, a man walked up to him and said, “Hey man, what you got?,” and tried to take his bag off of his arm. At this point, the suspect pulled out a knife from his sweatshirt pocket.

When the victim saw the knife, he took off running towards Fenway Street, yelling for help.
The victim described the suspect as black, about 5’8’’ wearing a black baseball hat, a blue hoodie sweatshirt and jeans.

Officers searched the area for a person matching the description of the suspect, but were unsuccessful.
Images of the suspect were obtained via a camera in the Clemente Park.
