Big League Trick-or-Treating
The Red Sox will host "Halloween at Fenway Park" on Oct. 31.

The last couple Red Sox seasons have been more trick than treat, but area kids can get both at Fenway Park this Halloween.
The Red Sox are planning to host “Halloween at Fenway Park” on Saturday, Oct. 31, 1-5 p.m., during which kids and adults can trick-or-treat along the decorated outfield warning track, meet Wally the Green Monster, and get an up-close look at the team’s three World Series trophies. There will also be face painters, balloon artists and caricaturists on hand as Sox staff members hand out candy to hungry kids.
The Sox are also hosting a pumpkin carving contest, the entries of which will be on display in a haunted pumpkin patch in the outfield on Halloween night. Fans submitting their best pumpkin art should do so on Thursday, Oct. 29, 5-7:30 p.m., when members of the Red Sox front office will be doing the judging.
