Rice Bowl Restaurant Broken Into, Robbed

Police are investigating a breaking and entering at the Hemenway Street Chinese restaurant.

Boston Police responded to a report of a breaking and entry on Hemenway Street on Sunday.

At about 5:01 a.m. on Dec. 23, a Berklee security guard called 911 and reported that he had seen the front door of 6 Hemenway Street had been smashed in.

Officers entered the premises and determined that no one was inside. They observed a cash register smashed on the floor, containing only loose change, according to a police report. Police are reviewing security footage from cameras posted in the store.
